Silver Fern Farms’ first foray into fresh, ready-made burgers was a big move — especially as a brand perceived as premium-conservative entering a category flooded with like-for-like labels peddling convenience above all else. So, how to stand out in this sea of sameness? How to cut the conservatism without compromising premium-ness? It all stems from a straight-up quirky character that casts aside category conformity, cuts through and converts in cluttered supermarket aisles (while also proving the stretch of the wider brand). A character that is set free because it has nothing to hide and everything to show for it. No bullshit — just like the burgers.
